What is GSA?
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a student government organization that represents the interests of all Graduate Students in university affairs. GSA’s mission is to provide a structure through which graduate students work together to improve the quality of graduate student life. Active members gain direct access to social and educational events, open travel opportunities for conferences and seminars, and opportunities to establish connections with university leaders.

GSA Eboard 2025-2026
The GSA Executive Board is the administrative and governing body that leads and represents NJIT’s graduate student community, overseeing academic, social, and financial initiatives. It ensures transparency, collaboration, and advocacy to enhance graduate student life across the university.
Dear Fellows Graduate Student

As President of the Graduate Student Association, I invite every graduate student to become an active part of our community, one built on collaboration, service, and shared responsibility. By working together with commitment and purpose, we can strengthen academic excellence, foster inclusive dialogue, and create opportunities that shape a better future for ourselves and those who follow. Your voice, effort, and dedication matter, and through collective action, we can turn challenges into progress and ambition into lasting impact.
Fernando Vera Buschmann,
President GSA NJIT 2025/26
